McWay Falls is situated about 20 miles south of Big Sur in Julia Burns state park. After parking, it's a very short (quarter mile) walk to the observation point.
This is one of most breathtaking sights. The waterfall lands on a beach - which is not accessible. I wish I could have gone right up to the fall - but if people could visit it, it wouldn't be such a pristine view.
This is a great spot for taking pictures.
On the route, there are many nice spots : like this famous Rainbow Bridge and many rock formations.
On that day, one particular type of bird was very gracious to pose for many shots(at different locations). Even without a decent zoom, I could take a couple of nice pictures.
