After a long cold winter with heavy rains, it seems like Nature is in an overdrive. Here are some photos from a walk through the neighborhood. These are all wildflowers.
The days are sunny again, and the trails are surrounded by overgrown plants.
Some of the grass has already started turning brown which is typical for this time of the year.
The "California Poppy" is rightfully the State Flower for The Golden State. Entire meadows can be full of these bright yellow flowers.
It's not all about yellow, pink and purple wildflowers also abound.
These storks are very common in this area, but rarely remain close enough like this.
