ASAD - 5

The last Sher in a GHazal usually has the Shayar's alias, which in Urdu is called "taKHallus". A Shayar can use his "taKHallus" very cleverly to address himself. It sounds still better, when the thought is also as clever as its presentation.
The sarcastic bitterness of the following Sher will strike you and make you smile at the same time.
No difficult words this time :-)
sher kehate ho bahut KHub tum 'AKHtar', lekin
achchhe shayar, ye suna hai, ki jawaaN marate haiN
- AKHtar
A clever way indeed, to express the commonly known fate of the Shayars !
- Abhay.
ASAD _also_ stands for "A Sher A Day" !
