Shayari is profession to some, while hobby to others. Many famous personalities wrote Shayari in free time. In context of Hindi Films, there are many who do that. Perhaps the most famous of these is the late actress Meenakumari.
aabalaapa = having blisters on the feet [jiske paaNvoN me chhaale pade ho]
dasht = veeraanaa
aabalaapa koi is dasht me aayaa hogaa
warnaa aaNdhi me diya, kisane jalayaa hogaa
- Meenakumari
The concept "aabalaapaa" is used quite often in Shayari to denote an unhappy yet trying person.
- Abhay.
ASAD _also_ stands for "A Sher A Day" !
